On February 2nd, 2013, Chris Kyle, 38, passed away. An American hero, Chris Kyle served four combat deployments in Iraq with the US Navy SEALs, earning two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor, and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. In addition to his heroic service, Chris was the US record holder for most career sniper kills in the history of the US Military, including by confirmed kills and estimates. After returning to civilian life, Chris dedicated himself to working with US veterans, assisting in their transition back to civilian life and advocating for physical and mental health support for them. Chris is survived by his wife, Taya; two children, and a large extended family. His memory will be deeply honored.
