Dale Robertson, a beloved actor, author, and television host, passed away on February 27, 2013 at the age of 89. Robertson most notably starred in several westerns, and his roles spanned five decades, from the 1950s to the 1990s. Born in Oklahoma in 1923, Dale began his acting career in 1946. Through television, movies, and stage, Dale appeared in a variety of roles. He was best known for his performance in television westerns, including "Tales of Wells Fargo," "Death Valley Days" and "The Iron Horse." He also authored a book, “The Gifts of the watering Hole.” Dale Robertson's work was greatly admired by all. His contributions to the entertainment industry will always be remembered.
