David McCallum, renowned actor, died peacefully on September 25th, 2023 at the age of 90. Born to British musical conductor David Nichol McCallum Sr. and Dorothy Dorman in 1933, David had a successful career in show business. He served in the Royal Navy for two years during the Korean War, but after was able to pursue his performing career. McCallum quickly became well known for his appearances in popular films and television shows of the era, such as Billy Budd (1962), The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965), and Catch My Soul (1974). He was a familiar face on the small screen as well, in The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Invisible Man, and Sapphire & Steel, to name a few. McCallum was also a successful recording artist, with his two best-selling albums, Music…A Part of Me (1967) and Music, An Odyssey (1968). He went on to work on popular shows such as NCIS, joining in 2003 and becoming an iconic part of the show’s cast. David’s career spanned over six decades, and he is remembered for his brilliance as a performer. He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife Emily Rosen, his three children, and his grandchildren.
