Eduardo Gory "Eddie" Guerrero, a beloved wrestler in the WWE, passed away on November 13, 2005 at the age of 38. A native of El Paso, Texas, Eddie was renowned as a professional wrestling talent, and won 25 championships throughout his career. He began his professional wrestling career in the 1990s, most notably as a part of the Mexican wrestling group Los Gringos Locos. He was a long-time icon of the Wrestling World Elite and a prominent part of the SmackDown! brand. A decorated grappler, Eddie won numerous titles and championships throughout his career, including nine world championships. He was also a six-time WWE Tag Team Champion and the winner of the European Championship. He was the winner of the WWE United States Championship three times, as well as the 2004 WWE Champion. Eddie was widely known for his trademark cries of "Viva La Raza!" and for his catchphrases "I Lie! I Cheat! I Steal!" and "Lie, Cheat, Steal!". Eddie Guerrero was a beloved figure in the world of professional wrestling. He was a masterful wrestler, gracious host, and a valued member of the professional wrestling community. He will be missed by wrestling fans everywhere.
