Errol Brown, beloved singer, songwriter, and musician, passed away on May 6th, 2015, at the age of 66. Errol Brown is best known as the frontman of the iconic British band "Hot Chocolate", which went on to become an international success. Theirs was a long and successful career covering 30 years, and 25 charting hits, including the number one hit "You Sexy Thing", which alone sold in excess of 8 million records. Throughout his life, Errol was passionate about music, and rose to the top of his profession. His career highlights include two Ivor Novello Awards for Songwriting and Contribution to Music, an MBE and an ASCAP Songwriter of the year award. Errol had a unique gift to write songs with instantly hummable melodies, creating music to which people around the world could tap their feet and sing along. His music spanned genres and generations and brought pleasure to a huge variety of music fans. Errol Brown is remembered with love by his many fans and remembered as an inspiration by all of those whose lives he touched!
