Jeffrey Dahmer, one of the most notorious serial killers in American history, died on November 28th, 1994 at the age of 34. Born on May 21st, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jeffrey was the son of Lionel and Joyce Dahmer. He began by committing petty theft and vandalism. Later, in 1978, he would be diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. In 1981, Jeffrey began committing murders, often involving the necrophilia dismemberment of his victims. This spree would ultimately last until 1991, during which time he killed 17 young men and boys. He was eventually captured and charged with 15 counts of murder, later pleading guilty but insane. He remained in prison until the end of his life. In 1992, Jeffrey suffered severe head trauma when another prisoner attacked him with a metal bar, leaving him in a coma. He was never the same afterward and died two years later from natural causes. Jeffrey Dahmer's legacy will remain a troubling reminder of the depths of depravity and inhumanity.
