Born in 1961, Bergman became heavily involved in the entertainment industry as a child, appearing in commercials and acting in minor roles onstage before eventually becoming the primary female voice actress of Warner Bros. Animation. Her voice could be heard in popular animated films including The Iron Giant and numerous TV episodes. She achieved fame for her portrayal of South Park character Sheila Broflovski, as well as providing additional voices for numerous South Park characters. Bergman was a prominent figure in the animation and voice acting community and received numerous awards for her work. She won an Annie Award in 1998, and later won numerous prestigious Voice Arts Awards. Bergman will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and fans of her work.
