John Heard, beloved actor, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2017 at the age of 71. Heard, born in Washington, D.C. in 1945, was a prominent fixture in the film and television industry. After beginning his acting career in the mid-1970s, Heard went on to star in a vast array of films. His notable credits include films such as Cutter's Way, Awakenings, The Pelican Brief, and, famously, the Home Alone series. Not only did Heard appear on the big screen, but he had many memorable roles on television as well. Some of Heard's most memorable performances were seen in shows such as The Sopranos, Prison Break, and The Larry Sanders Show. Heard was an incredibly talented actor who will be remembered for decades to come. He was known for his adept comedic timing, his strong drama performances, and his phenomenal body of work. He is survived by his three children.
