Michael Nesmith, 78, passed away on December 10th, 2021. He was a pioneer of American pop culture, wildly successful musician, and successful business entrepreneur. Michael was born in Houston, TX on December 30th, 1942. He had a successful career with the band The Monkees then evolved into a solo artist with a deep portfolio of music. He also wrote, produced, and starred in numerous television programs, and also wrote films. Michael was renowned for his amazing business skills, as he founded several successful companies in the media industry. He co-created Pacific Arts, which made music and videos specifically for retail. His commercial success led him to a series of successful investments in computer companies, which eventually wound up being integral members of the technology industry. Michael will be remembered by many for his massive contributions to the music and entertainment industries. His legacy will remain in the industry for years to come. He was an artist and innovator to the very end.
