Michele Carey (1943-2018) passed away in her 75th year on November 21, 2018. Michele was a dedicated woman of many talents, most well known for her film and television career. She did her first filming of “The High Chaparral” in 1967 and her last at the age of 73, in the 2017 film “Sulphur Springs”. Michele held long standing roles on “E/R” (1984-1989) and “My Two Dads” (1987-1990). Michele earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of New Mexico. She worked as an English teacher in Albuquerque and in this position she developed a writing and production lab with the help of IBM. She is survived by her daughters Chloe and Temple and her siblings Jones, Shep, and Erin. Michele was an avid reader, traveler, and photographer who left behind a rich and inspiring legacy that will be cherished by many.
