Mickey Deans, beloved husband of the late Judy Garland, passed away at the age of 68 on July 11, 2003. He was a talented musician, actor and real estate agent who brought joy and laughter to those he met. He came from a small town in Ohio and attended The Ohio State University where he studied music. After college, he toured as a backing musician before relocating to Los Angeles in 1960; it was there that he met and married Judy Garland. For the next decade, he and Judy traveled on tour throughout Europe and North America, entertaining thousands. After her untimely death in 1969, he found success as a real estate agent in both Los Angeles and Idaho. He was a kind and generous man with a passion for music and the arts. He leaves behind a generous collection of friends and acquaintances all whom will miss him dearly.
