The entertainment world is mourning the sudden passing of beloved actress and singer, Naya Rivera. She was 33-years-old when she died on July 8, 2020. Rivera was born in Valencia, California in 1987 and lived in nearby Los Angeles. After appearing in several commercials, Rivera made her acting debut in the 1992 film “The Royal Family”. She went on to star in a variety of television shows, including “The Bernie Mac Show” and “Glee”, where she won awards for her portrayal of cheerleader Santana Lopez. She was a featured artist on several tracks from her album “Sorry” and was also featured in 50 Cent’s “Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone.” Rivera is survived by her parent Yolanda and George Rivera, and her child Josey Hollis Dorsey. Her fans and peers remember her for her infectious personality, her quick wit, and the impact that she had through her incredible talent. She will be deeply missed.
