Osama bin Laden, a 54 year-old male, passed away on May 2, 2011. Mr. bin Laden was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1957. He was best known as the founder of al-Qaeda, an international terrorist organization whose attacks led to the death of thousands of people in the United States and around the world. Prior to his passing, Mr. bin Laden was the subject of a global manhunt for a decade before being located and killed by U.S. forces in Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 2, 2011. He will be greatly missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched around the world.
