Paul Gray, who died on May 24th, 2010 at age 38, was best known as the bassist of heavy metal band Slipknot. Born in Los Angeles, California on April 8th 1972, he began his musical career at an early age. He moved to Des Moines, Iowa and formed the band Slipknot in 1995. Gray’s musical talents propelled the group to commercial success, releasing several chart-topping albums before his death. His legacy extends beyond his work in Slipknot; he also co-founded and ran a record label, and collaborated with other colleagues on solo projects and side bands. Paul Gray was a beloved and respected musician whose untimely death has left friends, family, and fans heartbroken.
