Chad Lamont Butler, better known by his stage name Pimp C, has passed away at the age of 33 on December 4th, 2007. He was a talented hip hop performer and record producer from Port Arthur, Texas, who formed the group UGK with his partner Bun B. Together, they released several successful albums including "Ridin' Dirty" and "Dirty Money". In addition to his work with UGK, Butler also did noteworthy solo work, releasing his debut album The Sweet James Jones Stories in 2005. He was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2007 and 2007 and was the recipient of numerous other awards and accolades. The hip hop community mourns the loss of this talented artist and will miss him dearly.
