On June 2, 1996, Ray Combs passed away at the age of 40. Combs was a stand-up comedian, actor, and game show host. He is best known for hosting the game show Family Feud from 1988-1994. Prior to his game show hosting career, Combs performed stand-up comedy in many cities throughout the United States. His unique style of humor earned him a reputation of being one of the best in the business and he kept a loyal fan base throughout his career. Combs was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 3, 1956, and he attended Hamilton High School. After high school, he served in the U.S. Air Force before pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. Combs will be remembered for his energetic personality, quick wit, and his unique style of comedy. He left a lasting impression on the entertainment industry and will be remembered for years to come.
