With heavy hearts, the family of comedian Tim Conway announces his passing on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at the age of 85. Tim Conway was an American television writer, comedian, actor, producer, and director. He first gained popularity as a regular cast member of The Carol Burnett Show, for which he won many Emmy Awards in addition to five Golden Globes, two Primetime Emmys, and four Viewers' Choice awards. As a comedian, he wrote and performed in various sitcoms throughout his career, including McHale's Navy, The Tim Conway Show, The Klexue Effect, Rango, and Jo Jo’s Circus. His feature films included The Apple Dumplin' Gang and The Prize Fighter. His last posthumous movie credit was for Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020). Tim Conway enjoyed a six-decade spanning career in the comedy and entertainment industry, leaving a long-lasting impression on audiences everywhere. He will be remembered and missed deeply.
