It is with deep sorrow that the family of Robert Maxwell announces his passing on November 5th, 1991 at the age of 68. Robert was born in 1923 and grew up in Germany before moving to Britain in 1940. A self-made man, he spent his life building a successful media empire, ultimately owning the Mirror newspaper chain. He served in the British Military and was a philanthropist, donating generously to various charities. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, and his nine children. He will forever be remembered as a loving father and husband, a well-respected business executive, and a dedicated humanitarian. His legacy will remain both in the media industry and in the many lives he has touched.
