He was best known for his roles in This Is Us, Luke Cage, and She's Gotta Have It. Throughout his long and successful career, Ron earned numerous awards and nominations, including two Emmy nominations and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Throughout his life, Ron loved jazz, soul, and gospel music, and pursued his academic studies at Lincoln University. Ron Cephas Jones will be remembered by his family and friends as a kind and gentle soul. He leaves behind a legacy of both strong talent and strong moral values.
