Sean Taylor, age 24, passed away on November 27, 2007. Sean was born on April 1, 1983 in Miami, FL. He attended Gulliver Preparatory School and played football for the University of Miami Hurricanes before joining the NFL in 2004. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins and played free safety in the NFL for four years. Sean was known for his immense talent and explosive speed. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2006, and was a strong part of the team’s defense. His professional honors include two times being named NFC Defensive Player of the Week, and 2006 NFC Defensive Player of the Month. Sean was a devoted family man who was deeply loved by his family, friends, fans, and teammates. He will be remembered for his athleticism, determination, and passion for the game. He will be dearly missed.
