Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, an English socialite, author, model, and television personality, passed away on February 8, 2017 at the age of 45. Born on December 23, 1971 in Hampshire, England, she was best known for her appearances on English television shows throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s. Throughout her life, she was a proficient tennis player and competed in National Championships. She was also an ambassador for charity organisations such as The Prince's Trust and Best Beginnings. Included among the works she published were the roles she played in the 1996 film version of Jane Austen's "Emma" and autobiographical books like "The Inheritance: A Psychological Thriller" and "The Real Me: By Tara Palmer Tomkinson". Tara Palmer Tomkinson is survived by her parents Charles and Patricia, and her brother James.
