A beloved mother and grandmother, Vivian Liberto, passed away at the age of 71 on May 24, 2005. Vivian was born in 1934 to Petty Paschall and Emma Paschall in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio and eventually moved to Memphis, Tennessee. She married Johnny Cash in 1954, and had four daughters with him: Rosanne, Kathy, Cindy, and Tara. Vivian was a compassionate and nurturing woman who was deeply involved in her daughters’ lives. She was actively involved in her local church and was a great lover of music. Her strong faith and love for the Lord were her guiding light throughout her life. Vivian is survived by her four daughters, many grandchildren, and her siblings. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and unwavering faith.
