Yash Johar, renowned Indian film producer, passed away on June 26, 2004 at the age of 74. Yash Johar was widely known for his production of Hindi films from 1976 to 2004, such as Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. He worked under the iconic Dharma Productions brand, creating some of Bollywood's most beloved films, and he served as a mentor to some of the industry's most acclaimed directors and actors. Born in Amritsar, Punjab, in 1930, Yash Johar first worked in theater before eventually entering the film industry. His long career of over two decades launched countless successful films, some of which had powerful social messages. His successful collaborations with directors, writers, and actors earned him much respect and critical acclaim. With the passing of Yash Johar, the Indian film industry has lost a visionary creative force.
