Yizhak Rabin, born in Jerusalem in 1922, passed away on November 4, 1995, at the age of 73. Yizhak was an Israeli statesman, politician, and general who served as the fifth Prime Minister of Israel from 1974-77 and again from 1992-95. He was a leader in the struggle in Palestine following World War II and played an important role in the formation of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Yizhak also signed the Oslo Accords, a historic peace treaty between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1993. Yizhak is survived by his wife Leah, his sons Yuval and Amos, and daughter Dalia. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the citizens of Israel.
