Why would someone develop this?

I personally find the daily accounting of high-profile deaths to be uplifting, particularly during a time when overpopulation and overconsumption perpetuate humanities cancer-like impact on Gaia, our planet, the one and only mother earth.

Due to this website, I'm disposing of all technology and becoming a monk.
