Anatoly Dyatlov, 64, died on 13 December 1995. Anatoly was born in Volkovo, Leningrad Oblast, Russia. Anatoly had a long and distinguished career in engineering and energy production, most notably as the former Deputy Chief Engineer of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, as well as for holding prominent roles in various governmental and private nuclear-related agencies. Anatoly was married twice and had three children. He is survived by his two sons and one daughter. Anatoly will be remembered by his family, friends, and colleagues for his unwavering dedication to work, his passion for engineering, and his commitment to advancing the goals of nuclear energy production.
