Bob Einstein, a two-time Emmy Award-winning actor and writer, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the age of 76. Throughout his five-decade career in the entertainment industry, he was an actor, writer, and producer. He is most famously remembered for his role as "Super Dave Osborne," an accidnet-prone stuntman on television, and for the mockumentary series "Curb Your Enthusiasm," in which he also appeared. In addition to his two Emmy Awards (one for Outstanding Writing for a Variety or Music Program for "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour: 1968-1969" and one for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for "Curb Your Enthusiasm"), he received a total of four Emmy nominations throughout his career, and other awards such as an American Comedy Award for Funniest Supporting Male and TV Land Award for Groundbreaking Show of the Year. Einstein was married to Roberta Einstein for 25 years and is survived by his two children. He will be remembered fondly for his extensive comedy career and for his quick wit and sense of humor.
