On Tuesday, May 8th 2022, Dennis Waterman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away at the age of 74. Dennis was born in London, England, the only son of a hairdresser and merchant seaman. He was an avid music lover from a young age and enjoyed playing piano and guitar. His love of music eventually led him to a career in the film and music industry. He was best known for his acting roles as Terry McCann in the television series The Sweeney, and as George Briggs in the series Minder. Additionally, he composed and sang the well-known theme songs to both shows. Dennis is survived by his wife Pam St Clement, his children Billie, Harriet, Hannah and Sam, his grandchildren, and his siblings. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
