Dennis Weaver, an American actor, died on February 24th, 2006, at the age of 81. He was best known for his roles on the classic television shows "Gunsmoke" and "McCloud". Starting out with small roles in television shows and films, he made his major break in the 1955 movie, "Task Force". After this, his popularity exploded, and he appeared not only in hit shows, but also several minor films. He is survived by his wife, his two sons from his prior marriage, and four grandchildren.
