Dolores O'Riordan, musician, singer and songwriter, passed away on 2018-01-15 at the age of 46. Born in 1971, O'Riordan rose to fame in the early 1990's as the lead singer of the multi-platinum selling band, The Cranberries. She achieved her biggest success with the release of their 1994 debut album “Everybody Else is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?”, which featured the hit single “Zombie”, and the album went on to sell over 17 million copies worldwide. Throughout her career she released four studio albums with The Cranberries and two solo albums. Throughout her career she received numerous awards and accolades for her musical accomplishments, including four MTV Video Music Awards, two World Music Awards, and numerous Grammy and Echo award nominations. O'Riordan was described as having a signature voice and was known for her unique and evocative lyrics and sound. Despite her success, her career was plagued with personal struggles as she suffered from depression, bipolar disorder, panic attacks and anorexia. O'Riordan is survived by her three children.
