It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of actress Elizabeth Montgomery on May 18, 1995. She was 62 years old. Elizabeth Montgomery had a successful and prolific career spanning more than four decades. During this time, she appeared in more than 40 films and television programs. She is probably best known for her role as the beloved Samantha Stephens in the ABC television sitcom Bewitched, for which she received five Emmy Award nominations. She also received two Golden Globe Awards and was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. In her personal life, Elizabeth Montgomery was married four times and is survived by her fourth husband, producer Robert Foxworth, step-daughter Katey, and two grandchildren. We will remember Elizabeth Montgomery for her significant achievements and her lasting legacy as a true Hollywood icon.
