Gustav Schwarzenegger, 65, passed away on 1972-12-01. Gustav was born in Brno, Moravia, Austria in 1907. He studied at the Realschule and was an active member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party. Gustav worked as a clerk for the local police in his hometown, and then as a railroad policeman in Styria. In 1945, Gustav and his family were forced to flee as World War II ended. In 1947 Gustav moved to a new home in Graz, and there he began his life as a bricklayer and plasterer. He was a hard working man and took great pride in his work. Gustav was a loving husband to Aurelia Jadrny, and a devoted father to their five children: Arnold, Meinhard, Maria, Monika, and Gerald. He was also the proud grandfather to eight grandchildren. Gustav was an unforgettable man with a strong sense of duty, and he will be remembered fondly and dearly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
