Kerry Von Erich
American professional wrestler (1960-1993).
Born February 3rd, 1960 in Niagara Falls.
Died February 18th, 1993 at 33 years old in Denton (gunshot wound).
Kerry Gene Adkisson, better known as Kerry Von Erich, passed away on February 18th, 1993 at the age of 33. Born in 1960, Kerry was a professional wrestler, notably performing in World Class Championship Wrestling and the WWE, where he performed under the names 'The Modern Day Warrior' and 'The Texas Tornado'. Kerry had a successful wrestling career, becoming the first member of the Von Erich family to win the American Wrestling Association World Light Heavyweight Championship, as well as becoming a two-time holder of the world heavyweight championship belt in World Class Championship Wrestling. He was also inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. Kerry was born in Texas and was a lifelong resident. He is survived by his four children, two sisters and his parents.
