Pamela Susan Courson, beloved partner and companion of Jim Morrison, died on April 25, 1974, at the age of 27. She lived a courageous, fulfilling life devoted to art, literature and friendship. Pamela was born December 22, 1946 in Weed, California, and moved to Los Angeles shortly after. Professionally, Pamela had a number of impressive ventures, including working as an art director for a major advertising firm and owning her own store in West Hollywood. She also worked part time in theater and film. Pamela is remembered and loved by those who knew and loved her for her intelligence, creativity and kindness. Pamela's memory will be forever cherished by her family and those in the entertainment industry who knew her. She will be deeply missed. May her memory be a blessing.
