It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patrice Lumumba Malcolm O'Neal, on November 29th, 2011. Patrice, who was a comedian, actor, and radio personality, was born on December 7th, 1969, in New York City. He often went by the name "The Tornado". He began his career as a standup comedian, going on to host the show Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, as well as making multiple appearances on The Office, Tough Balls with Patrice O'Neal, and The Chappelle Show. Patrice was a major figure in the hip-hop and comedy world, and was well-known for his sharp wit and incisive comedy style. His comedy has been said to have a profound influence on the world of standup, and his work will influence the art form for many years to come. He is survived by his family and friends, and will be deeply missed.
