Satish Kaushik, 66, passed away on 2023-03-09. He was born in India and achieved recognition in the film industry, both as an actor and director, after relocating to Mumbai as a youngster. Satish was an award-winning filmmaker and producer, recognized for his work on some of Bollywood's most beloved films, including Virasat, Chalo Ishq Ladaaye, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, and Raja Hindustani. The film veteran was responsible for producing, directing and writing several popular projects, often about Waaris, emotions, and relationships. His most memorable films often focused on the values of Indian culture and featured character-driven storylines. Internationally, he garnered attention for his film Tere Naam, a remake of the Tamil film Sethu that was released in 2003. Satish Kaushik is survived by his wife, son, and grandchild.
