It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Steve Bing on June 22, 2020. He was 55 years old. Steve was a renowned film producer, philanthropist, and onetime Hollywood power broker. Born in New York City on March 31, 1965, he was the son of real estate developer Paul andHelen Bing. During his life, Steve had produced a variety of films, including 'Kangaroo Jack: G'Day U.S.A.', 'Get Carter',and 'Every Breath'. He served as Indian Chief executive of the commercial film production company Shangri-La Entertainment, which he founded. As a philanthropist,Steve supported organizations such as environmental organizations, poverty-eradication initiatives, think tanks, film-related charities, and art and educational organizations. Steve is survived by his father, Paul Bing, and his daughter, Kira Bonder. May Steve rest in peace.
