Chechen perpetrator of the 2013 boston marathon bombing (1986–2013).
Born October 21st, 1986 in Elista.
Died April 19th, 2013 at 26 years old in Watertown (blunt trauma, gunshot wound).
On April 19, 2013, Tamerlan Tsarnaev died at the age of 26. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the United States with his family a decade ago. He was an impressive athlete and was a proud participant of the National Golden Gloves Boxing Championship in 2009 and 2010. His death came in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings which he is suspected of participating in. He leaves behind his wife, Katherine Russell and their 3 year old daughter Zahara. He is also survived by his parents, Anzor Tsarnaev and Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, and two sisters, Ailina and Bella Tsarnaeva. The cause of his death has yet to be officially determined. His passing will be mourned by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
