Tammy Faye Messner, born June 17, 1942, was a Christian singer, evangelist, entrepreneur, author, talk show host, and television personality. She died on July 20, 2007, at the age of 65 in her home in Ranson, West Virginia. Messner is best remembered for her iconic singing, closeness to her fans, and flair for fashion.
