It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Brian Hellwig, best known as The Ultimate Warrior, on April 8th, 2014 at the age of 54. The Ultimate Warrior was one of the most iconic professional wrestlers in history. He burst onto the scene in the mid-1980s undertaking huge feats of strength and agility and performing memorable high-energy entrances that rocked arenas from coast to coast. He captured the imagination of fans around the world through his hard-hitting in-ring performances, unforgettable interviews and colorful characters. The Ultimate Warrior won two WWF World Heavyweight Championships, while also claiming two WWF Intercontinental titles and three WWF Tag Team Championships during his Hall of Fame career. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014. Although The Ultimate Warrior's life was cut short, his legacy of heroism, strength, and entertainment will live on forever. He is survived by his wife Dana and their two daughters.
