Dodi Fayed, son of Mohamed Al-Fayed, passed away on August 31, 1997 at 42 years old. Dodi was born in Alexandria, Egypt on April 15, 1955 and grew up in London, England. A graduate of Harrow School, Dodi had a long career in the family business of Mohamed Al-Fayed, as well as worked as a successful film producer and executive. He had particular success in the production of several films, including Chariots of Fire and The Scarlet Letter. Dodi is survived by his father, Mohamed Al-Fayed; his sister, Heba Fayed; his beloved friend, Princess Diana; and a number of extended family members. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
