Legendary NFL Linebacker and Hall of Fame Inductee Junior Seau has passed away on May 2nd, 2012 at the age of 43. Originally from Oceanside, California, Seau was a standout high school and college football player. He was a two-time first-team All-American at the University of Southern California before being drafted fifth overall in the 1990 NFL draft by the San Diego Chargers. In 20 years in the NFL, Seau earned 12 selections to the Pro Bowl and was named to the All-Pro team 8 times. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015 which was three years after his untimely death. Seau is remembered by his fans and colleagues for his leadership both on and off the field, and his contributions to the community. He was known as an ambassador to youth football and other charitable causes. Seau's legacy of excellence in football and generosity to his community will endure for generations. He is survived by his children, Sydney, Jake, Hunter, and Holt.
