King Von, born Dayvon Daquan Bennett, died at the age of 26 on 2020-11-06 00:00:00 UTC. He was a rapper, singer and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois, and became popular in late 2019 with the release of his debut album, Levon James. His musical success created a hallmark for Von, and he was featured on tracks by Meek Mill, 21 Savage and Lil Durk. In 2019, Von was named a “breakout artist” by Complex and later received a 2020 BET Award nomination. Von was remembered among friends and family for his positive attitude and energy. He will be fondly remembered by many fans as a talented artist, creative songwriter and passionate individual.
