Leonard Nimoy, famed actor and director, passed away at 83 years old on February 27, 2015. Nimoy was best known for his portrayal of the enigmatic Mr. Spock on the original Star Trek series. In later years, he became a successful director, helming episodes of Fringe and the 2009 Star Trek feature film. Nimoy is survived by his wife, Susan Bay, and his children, Adam and Julie.
