She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt who touched many lives in her native India, and all over the word. Nanda was born in a small farming village in India and was raised among the beautiful scenery and ancient traditions of her home. As a young woman, she left her village and moved to a large city with her husband, where they raised their family and opened a successful small business. Nanda had a passion for travel, and often delighted friends and family with stories of her worldwide adventures. Nanda's kindness, wisdom, and soulful cooking were felt by anyone who ever came in contact with her.
