He went on to become one of the highest-paid celebrities in the country, performing on Broadway, vaudeville and even appearing in Hollywood films such as “State Fair” and “In Old Oklahoma”. He also wrote a syndicated newspaper column, which featured wit, satire and Americanism. Will Rogers possessed a rare talent for connecting with people through humor and his down-to-earth personality. His life was filled with many triumphs and accomplishments, including serving as the host of the Academy Awards in 1934. He will be remembered as a beloved icon whose humor and wisdom will never be forgotten.
