Bob Grant passed away on November 8th, 2003 at the age of 71. Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was born in 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Jack and Emily Grant. On January 20th, 1962 he married the love of his life, Margaret, with whom he would enjoy 41 years of marriage. Together they had three children, Mary, Jack, and Robert, and four grandchildren, Cara, William, Austen, and Olivia. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing, and canoeing. He coached Little League and served as a Cub Scout leader for many years. He enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Philadelphia Phillies. Bob was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where he served as an usher for more than 40 years. He was a kind and generous person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered fondly for his unwavering optimism and for always finding the silver lining in every situation.
