Pop Smoke, a prominent American rapper, born on July 20, 1999 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on February 19, 2020. Pop Smoke began his musical career in 2019 with his debut mixtape, ‘Meet the Woo’. His debut studio album, ‘Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon’, was released in July 2020 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Chart. He was well known for his unique, trap style of hip-hop, which featured various drill and trap accents and a high-energy delivery. Pop Smoke also made appearances in several music videos, as well as making guest appearances on numerous tracks by other prominent artists. He was also notable for his entrepreneurial spirit, as many of his singles and solo albums surged to the top of the charts and received heavy radio play. Pop Smoke will be remembered for his hard work, ambition, and determination, as well as his unique style of rap.
